This one is quite commendable for its double whammy of Born Again witnessing at its worst and blatant racism.
Praise the Lawd!
I have a stack of the chick tracts in the pulp. At a Boston tent revival, I chatted up a preacher. At the end of the conversation, he handed me a chick tract and asked if I was saved. I said no, and he looked alarmed. "Here." he said, and placed his stack of pamphlets in my hand, "these should help."
Chick tracts: take once daily until reason disappears.

I teach an exercise class at a Baptist Church wellness center on Sat. a.m. I live in the deep south. Most of the people are very nice white people with money who are Republicans.
Why I live here is beyond the scope of this comment.
However.
Today after class in the treadmill room, facing the parking lot, I, on the back row of treadmills (couldn't help but) overheard 3 nice white Baptists on the front row of treadmills saying very nasty things about the Democratic candidate for the Presidency.
He's a socialist, no no, a Marxist, he's going to destroy the country, he will steal all of our money, he is a secret Arab, no , as secret Muslim, he bows down and worships Mecca, we can only pray that our God will destroy his God.
On and On. And On.
I watched my heart rate rise on the heart rate monitor. Very interesting. I practiced yogic breathing to drop this heart rate, to no avail. I pondered possible responses.
I finally finished on the treadmill, got off, went out to the parking lot, backed my car with the Obama sticker up to the full length window facing the parking lot. Sat in my car and waited for the treadmill complainers to look (they couldn't avoid it). Then I honked and drove away.
I am an adult.
I have been reduced to such foolishness as this, I am really appalled.
Christians, particularly southern red-neck Christians are the most intolerant people on earth. Well. Not on earth, but they are at least some of the most provincial and numb-skulled.
I've lived in the land of the Magnolias too long.
You should come down here, Abby. Plenty to write about here.
I am very seriously considering a move to the south in the next few years for writing related reasons.
Living with Maine fundamentalists made me more intolerant of conservative Christian social issues, and yet I still want to be inundated with them.
